With 50,000 new consumer products introduced each year, when purchasing products for your home and family how do you come to the decision on what's worth your hard earned dollars? Although it may initially spark my interest, just because I've seen the new trendy product in a commercial or magazine ad it doesn't necessarily mean that brand is going to get me to run out to the store or buy it online. I'm a huge fan of reading reviews and word of mouth recommendations, sometimes I make my decisions based solely on how many stars or thumbs up a product receives before purchasing. Our red feathered, eyebrow scowling favorite Angry Bird "Red" joined the United Nations to help spread the word and encourage everyone to take action against climate change and it's impacts. The International Day of Happiness 2016 presentation included the movie's US stars Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad and Maya Rudolph as well as producers John Cohen and Catherine Winder, who asked the attendees for their support to make the Angry Birds happy.

As parents, we have all employed the power of music for the benefit of our kids. The exposure to varying types of music from lullabies to nursery rhymes, theme songs of their favorite shows, to even simple and unique melodies we make up for our children play an important role in our kids’ development. I tend to let my musical side come out by constantly making melodies for my three year old baby girl of the most mundane things. She is a lover of music and so I have found that is a great way to reach her even in her crankiest of moments.
