Pining Over Pinterest: 9 Tuitty Fruitty DIY's to Obsess Over

By now, you either can't get enough of the fruit trend or you feel like it's taken over your Pinterest boards and Instagram feed and.... well, let's be honest you still love it .Unless you are living under a rock, you know that pineapple, watermelon and fruit prints are really juicy and trending for good reason. Pining Over Pinterest: Just Peachy Keen

Just the other day I watched my son Tristan take a bite into this humongous peach as he closed his eyes and shook his head in pure delight, juice dribbling down his chin into the crevices of his neck. Pinning on Pinterest all things peachy also made me think of the whimsical children's book James and the Giant Peach and reminded me of how when my oldest son was little he thought it was amazing that this boy and those silly creatures all magically lived in one. Before Summer comes to an end I'd like to have a slice of peach pie and maybe a glass or two of peach sangria.

It just isn't quite summer without a few delicious, plump peaches, wouldn't you agree?

Pining Over Pinterest: Channeling Warmer days with Color

I'm trying to look past the frigid temperatures by reminding myself that the boys and I are officially on Spring break despite still needing to adorn a hat and gloves.It seems like over the past week my eyes have been drawn to vibrant pops of color that make me instantly happy when I look at them.

Pining Over Pinterest // SO MINTY FRESH

Seeing as most of us can't seem to get enough of  the ever-so addicting site Pinterest I thought I'd share with you some of my weekly distractions that I'm currently pining over, that bring me inspiration or just have me cheeseball smiling.

With another snow storm approaching us this weekend I'm just hoping that Mr. groundhog hasn't told us a bold face lie and that winter is planning to creep it's way out of here. The inspiration behind this new series came from the beautiful image above of the snake which reminded me of days when the hubby and I would venture off to the Bronx Zoo with the monsters as soon as it got a little warmer to see all their newest arrivals.  Aren't you ready to Spring forward and embrace longer days & shorter nights, leisurely strolls & play-dates in the park and all things pastel ?
