One of the biggest debates this month has been “To trick-or-treat or not trick-or-treat?” this Halloween. While we’re still on the fence on whether we’ll head out for some seasonal fun, we’ve ordered costumes even if it means we’re just dressing up for movie night and a scavenger hunt for goodies at home.

Do ya'll remember grabbing your favorite bowl of cereal (in my case Corn Pops and Lucky Charms) and binge-watching episodes of  Scooby - Doo back in the day? Once Fred said "Looks like we've got another mystery on our hands" ya knew it was time to get in full detective mode to try and figure out who the masked bad guy was before it was solved in the cartoon. Lmao, I was always so hyped when I could figure it out early on.

Fast Forward to today and Scoob and the gang have a fresh new look for Gen Z kids and their families in the latest Warner Bros Movie. And guess what? You're all invited to join us for the #SCOOBMovieNight Premiere Event on Twitter this Friday, May 15.

Let the laugh-filled games begin! Staying in place due to the pandemic wasn't going to keep Five-time Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch from hosting her celebrity friends in a uniquely cool night of fun and games to mark the third annual Red Nose Day edition of “Hollywood Game Night.”

The first-ever “social distancing” episode airs tonight Tuesday, May 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, where guests Kristen Bell, Nick Jonas and Kenan Thompson remotely go head-to-head with Sean Hayes, John Legend and Retta as everyone battles it out from their own homes for a very worthy cause.

May the 4th Be With You: The Rise of Skywalker Exhibit and Everything Star Wars to Watch on Disney Plus

What better day than May 4th, in the midst of a pandemic and social distancing to sit and binge-watch all things Star Wars on Disney Plus?  Today the streaming platform is honoring the huge Star Wars fan community across the globe with the largest Star Wars content release since launching it's services last fall. We didn't get a chance to catch it in theaters but get excited because they've just added "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker". which made me reminiscent of roaming the streets of downtown NYC and visiting Dolby Soho for the interactive exhibit that opened to celebrate the latest installment. I figured I'd share some pics from the day, while I'm missing tour city adventures, along with a list of new adds that you must watch on Disney Plus.

Celebrate Earth Month with 4 captivating films and activities from Disneynature and National Geographic

2020 will be forever remembered as the year we were all forced to slow down, stay in place and to pay more attention to how we're caring not only for ourselves but for the world we live in. The coronavirus pandemic has affected us all on a global scale and it almost feels like Mother Nature was finally fed up and said: "alright ya'll are doing too much down there & ignoring all the signs and I need to check you!"

Weeks into this health crisis and as each country requires their residents to stay home, there were all these articles coming out about better air quality in China and Italy, clearer canals in Venice and sightings of wild animals roaming the streets and National Parks freely. At the very least, let's see if some good comes out of all this with positive environmental changes by next year.

As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, Disney and National Geographic aim to inspire families to be hopeful and stay connected. Check out their latest Earth Day themed content and activities for families.

'The Main Event' on Netflix: Review & Interview with Tichina Arnold and Seth Carr

Disclosure: This review and interview was written in partnership with Netflix, opinions expressed are 100% our own.

You don't need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy watching Netflix's newly released film 'The Main Event' because it's the perfect, light-hearted comedy to lighten the mood and pile-drive into the weekend with your family. Now for those of you that are new to our site, I must admit we're a bit biased over here as big-time WWE wrestling fans for years. We were really excited to learn of the two new projects the streaming network launched this month in partnership with WWE Studios.

We may not get to cheer on our fave WWE superstars live in any arena till the corona pandemic is under control but we can stay home and make it a movie night! No judgments but for some reason watching wrestling is one way our family likes to just chill and relax. Well, that's until we have to play referee & stop the boys from tossing each other around and flipping from couch to couch while choreographing their matches. The moment the bell rings you'll find them awkwardly twisting their bodies into submission holds in the midst of half laughing and crying before someone taps out.

Thanks to Netflix we had the chance to screen The Main Event early and my future WWE tag team boys Chris and Tristan joined me in our NYC apartment for a fun zoom interview with two of the stars of the movie, Tichina Arnold (Everybody Hates Chris, Martin) who we didn't realize was originally from our hometown of Queens, NY and young actor Seth Carr who's known for his role as young Killmonger in Marvel's Black Panther.

Sunny days have been sweeping clouds away for over 50 years on Sesame Street as our favorite furry lil' monsters Elmo, Grover, Abby, Cookie and the gang entertain & educate kids of all ages on the small screen. Now more than ever, families are looking for ways to help their little ones cope with the challenges being faced globally in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.  Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, has announced a simulcast special " Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate" to help kids and families around the world feel connected in this time of uncertainty.

Netflix launching 2 new projects for WWE fans to stream: The Big Show Show and the Main Event film

This past weekend wrapped up the biggest night(s) of the year for wrestling fans as we tuned into Wrestlemania 36, a welcomed distraction from all of the news flying around about the current coronavirus pandemic. As the only major sporting event to air globally, many viewers were torn between the idea of the show carrying on in an empty arena with no high energy chanting from the crowd of 80,000 viewers or over the top pyro and larger than life characters vs postponing the highly anticipated battles between our favorite WWE superstars to a later date.

We caught the first night and got such a kick out of the boneyard match with The Undertaker and AJ Styles, this was definitely an out of the box and entertaining moment. There were some great surprises and overall it was a history-making showcase of talent that will be talked about for a long time.

Now that it's over, Netflix is helping us all stay entertained while bunkered down at home and bringing us some family-friendly fun with two exciting new project collaborations with the WWE: The Big Show Show series starring world wrestling entertainment superstar The Big Show, Paul Wright and a new original film 'The Main Event' starring Seth Carr and Tichina Arnold.

Nickelodeon's #Kidstogether town hall for children discusses coronavirus concerns

By now your kids are probably just as tired of hearing you repeatedly ask "did you wash your hands well?" just as much as you are of saying it but we all understand it's just a small thing to do that will have a big impact on our new normal. Their daily routines have been disrupted so abruptly as we all seemingly try our darndest to get into a groove while working from home and distance learning. In the process, they're missing classmates, playing ball after school and so many won't get to celebrate milestones like birthdays and graduations with their favorite people standing by to love on them.

All of the frequently updated news surrounding the globally widespread coronavirus (COVID-19) and practicing of social distancing may have them feeling confused, anxious and lonely. As parents, it's not always easy finding the words to ease their minds and while we may feel isolated, I'll admit I find some comfort in knowing that my family isn't going through this challenging time alone and have appreciated the phone calls, google chats and game nights with loved ones more than ever.

To help families come to terms with everything going on Nickelodeon will present #KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall, an exclusive hour-long special offering a kid’s-eye view of life today amid COVID-19, on Monday, March 30, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT).

'My Spy' Starring Dave Bautista Advanced NYC Screening Passes Giveaway

Newly retired, Dave Bautista is probably most famously known for his role inside the ring as a WWE superstar and six-time world champion "Batista" and has made a name for himself in Hollywood as an actor in several SCi-Fi based films like Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers Endgame, Avengers Infinity War, Riddick, Blade Runner 2049 and more. We'll never forget the time we saw him and his partners of the Evolution return for a legendary battle against The Shield during our first WWe pay-per-view event Extreme Rules.

It's always funny and maybe even a bit awkward watching these super muscular wrestlers like John Cena in Playing with Fire, act alongside their mini castmates. Although Bautista is no longer showing off his strength in iconic fights on television we are excited to see how he matches up alongside his adorable sidekick Chloe Coleman on the big screen in the new movie 'My Spy' which hits theaters this Friday, March 13th.

Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Review: Does Paramount Ring in a Win with Nostalgic Gamer Fans and Gen Z Kids?

Last April we all dang near lost our minds with the original release of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie trailer and sent Paramount animators back to the drawing board well before fans of the popular gaming brand rioted. We applauded the studio for listening to their super fans who championed a redesign and were rewarded with a better suited and Puma laced up CGI animated character that resembled the icon we've all grown up with.

Back in the day I remember playing endless rounds of the game with my younger sis and brother, trying to skip to my fave levels with cheat codes ( who else had that up, up, down, down, left, right, A, start memorized?) and binge-watching the cartoon series with a bowl of Lucky Charms in hand. Expectations were high and I was excited to share this cinematic experience with my sis and our preschool, tween and teenaged boys who've become lovers of the brand.

With the Paramount film releasing in theaters this Friday, February the 14th, my two Gen Z kids and I agree a movie night would make for the perfect Valentine's day family date. As long time players of the 30-year-old SEGA franchise, we were visually soothed by the much-needed overhaul and couldn't wait to share our trailer reaction while counting down to the advanced screening we attended this past weekend.

Review of Paddington Gets in a Jam: Early Lessons of Good Intentions When Moments Get Messy!

For more than 60 years, British-born writer Michael Bond has delighted children and families all over the world with his stories about Paddington. Growing up he was one of my fave storybook bears, alongside Courdoroy and of course Winnie the Pooh and over the years I've loved sharing his sweet tales with my two boys and now my preschool-aged nephew.

Paddington’s adventures have been adapted many times for the big screen and television, which now includes an adorable new Paddington TV series that recently launched on Nickelodeon and a third feature film is in the works.

We've always got an eye out for theater experiences that the younger kids will enjoy and thought that the new show and New York Times Critic's Pick, Paddington Gets in a Jam at DR2 theater would be the perfect performance for my sister and I to take the kids to. When the winter months roll around we look forward to trips into the city that get us out of the apartment and give the Lil' monsters a chance to witness engaging storytelling that effortlessly captivates their wildest imaginations.

Disclosure: We were provided with complimentary tickets in order to facilitate this review, opinions expressed are 100% our own.
