As a kid and even to this day I absolutely love books and magazines. Everything from Anne of Green Gables, Anne Frank, Shel Silverstein and my aunts old Archie comics to my incurable obsession for magazines . In the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast I thought it was so thoughtful and sweet of the Beast to give Belle a fabulous library with wall -to-wall shelving filled with books. The beast might not have been the cutest piece of eye candy out there but he would've won brownie points with me for such a great space. Give me a great read, push the button on the keurig and hand me a throw blanket and I'm good to go!!
Before our oldest CJ even emerged from the womb, I was sending him off to dreamland with readings of classic nursery rhymes. Now almost 7 years later his bookshelf is buckling and with a baby brother who has a new collection of drool worthy reads (literally, the books are covered in loving drool) we are in search of kid friendly options and some fun book ends too!
I come a family if readers as well. My dream is to have awesome shelving a la pic 1, above in my next home/if we ever remodel. Clean and crisp!
ReplyDeleteShelly the first one is my favorite, it just looks so sirene and I love all the images posted for their unique look and organization. I can't wait to get additional shelving put up so that we can house more books. CJ's 1st grade teacher sends the students home with 2 books every monday to help grow their home library given by a retired teacher. We are always excited to read them monday evening.
