A Cause for Jubilation: A Spot of Tea [Gifts & NYC Tea Rooms]

source
There's something about a simple cup of tea in the early morning or when settling down for the evening that can make one feel completely relaxed. That one little cup of your favorite blend can bring clarity and rejuvenation. I had recently invited a girlfriend over for a cup of coffee to break in our new Keurig, she was up for the qt time but graciously declined the cup of Joe, admitting that she was scared of becoming a coffee junkie and proudly proclaimed she was a tea fan {we unfortunately hadn't bought any tea pods for the Keurig yet, but it's on the shopping list}. Gift ideas for tea lovers have been featured in some of my fave mags over the past two months, two great ones were featured in Oprahs "O" magazine as some of her holiday season favorite things. I think you'll find these Tea lover gifts I've found while flipping through pages of zines & searching etsy & pinterest are spot on! If you live here in NYC or plan to visit you should check out some of the Tea rooms suggested as well!

  1. I am loving the post!!! And all I've been doing in my head is combining your previous post about libraries with this - daydreaming heaven!!! On a more down to earth note, tea pot sets make great hostess gifts #holidaypartyseason.

  2. It's great to daydream every now and again. Oh yes i do agree that tea pot sets make great gifts. It was suggested that one of the Yedi porcelain sets be used at every seating, possibly in a different color for each guests preferred blend of tea. At $20, I thinks that's a really great suggestion for say a tea party with girlfriends or a bridal shower.
