End the Summer Snack Time Struggle with Jif Power Ups

It never fails! Once the kids start summer break us parents know dang well that the one line we'll hear on repeat over and over is "I'm hungry can I have snack?"They don't even care that they just had a fully loaded, protein filled breakfast unlike most school mornings where you toss them a banana and a bagel as you all rush your way out the door. These lil' monsters are un-phased by what time of day it is, or how much time has passed since they last asked for something to eat. They seem to want to munch on goodies non-stop, and god forbid you run out of their favorites! The snack time struggle during summer break can be really funny at times, so to introduce the launch of their new Power Ups chewy bars and creamy clusters Jif invited a few of us parents our for a night of laughs at Caroline's comedy club with funny dad and actor Neil Patrick Harris.

It's tradition that on the last day of school, my girlfriend Marta and I wrangle up our gaggle of lil' monsters for a few hours of outdoor fun and a sweet treat in celebration of summer vacation which is always a good time. But this year I figured we could also use our own mom's night out with some sweet treats and mama juice & knew she had to be my plus one because we always have the best mom life stories.

We cracked up watching NPH and the Improv group play out parenthood scenarios from Facebook live viewers that we all relate & struggle with from day to day: road trips with whiny kids, Youtube watching tween zombies, rushing your kids to school only to realize it's the weekend & bedtime stalling tactics. Get your laugh on and watch the show here

Whether spending the day at the zoo or headed to the annual family reunion, Jif's new Power Up chewy granola bars come in 5 flavors: Classic Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate, Strawberry and Banana and  the creamy clusters have peanut butter centers and rolled in toasted oats are available in three flavors: Classic Peanut Butter, Apple Cinnamon and Strawberry. Both versions taste really yummy and I'm not going to lie, I ate the entire box by myself in a day or two {I let my youngest have one} and I'm not a snacker but the salty sweet combos were so good.

Which of these flavors would your kids love the most?
