Exploring the New International Sherlock Holmes and Disney Junior Doc McStuffin Exhibit at the Liberty Science Center #LSCWinterfun

There's no reason to stay cooped up at home and glued to gadgets and gizmos when you could take a trip to Liberty Science Center in New Jersey. Families can escape cabin fever and head to this educational center for a day of hands on fun, deeper thinking and exploration. With kids out of school for the holidays I couldn't think of a better place to visit and my guys couldn't wait to check out the new International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes and Doc McStuffin.

Before checking out the latest installations the kids all got to witness ice cream being made from liquid nitrogen and thought it was absolutely delicious. Who wouldn't love ice cream for breakfast?

Get ready to solve a thrilling mystery in LSC’s newest premium exhibition! The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes is now open.

I returned home Saturday to rave reviews of the new International Sherlock Holmes exhibit at the Liberty Science Center. It was so engaging the boys were caught up trying to follow the clues, examine the footprints, and crack the case that they lost track of time and missed checking out the new planetarium showing of “Black Hole”.

I remember forensic science being my fave class (I got an A) in undergrad John Jay college and during our crime scene investigations having to analyze the blood splatters around the classroom.

Although bummed to have missed it, I loved hearing the excitement from my guys who really could have stayed there all day as they observed all of the vintage props and tried to solve the mystery.

In this interactive adventure, you’ll be transported into Sherlock Holmes’ London—a world filled with innovation and experimentation in the field of forensic science. While you're hot on the trail of your own case, you’ll learn how the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, a scientific expert ahead of his time, used seemingly trivial observations of clues others missed to solve mysterious crimes in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous books.

The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes is available with the purchase of a Combination Pass or Premium Pass.Catch this exhibition from Nov. 3, 2018 through May 27, 2019.

Mini animal lovers who want to make sure their pet friends are healthy and taken care of will love the chance to pretend they are vetarinarians.
Based on Disney Junior’s award-winning TV series Doc McStuffins, the exhibit transports kids and families from Liberty Science Center to Doc’s backyard clinic and the McStuffins Toy Hospital. There, families are invited to help Doc perform check-ups in the ER, groom toy pets at the Pet Vet, feed baby toys in the nursery, and so much more.

Through imaginative play and hands-on activities, kids will learn important life lessons about health and wellness. There is so much you can do to take care of you!

Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit is included in your general admission ticket. It will be here from Oct. 6, 2018 through Jan. 27, 2019.

Thank you Liberty Science Center and Momtrends for hosting us!
