SECOND ACT is a heartfelt comedy that will inspire audiences to believe that it’s never too late to create the life you want. Jennifer Lopez returns to the big screen in an empowering, signature role that proves your dreams are always within reach regardless of your age, background or zipcode.

I’m such a fan of J Lo and the relatably funny characters she’s portrayed over the years, and in her role as born and raised Queens girl Maya Vargas, she’s hoping that her 43rd birthday wish for a promotion comes true.

How many of us at some point can understand the feeling of being stuck in a rut or having regrets about choices made and sometimes as a result dreams not coming to fruition? It’s probably a pretty common story, I know I recently mentioned my own need to shift and shake things up as I go through a bit of self discovery and hone in on my varied skill sets.

As we age it’s pretty natural to question your next steps and ask “What am I going to achieve over the next 30 - 40 years?”

Second Act focuses on women uplifting each other, reinvention and giving yourself permission to evolve and grow. I’m looking forward to a night out with some of my girlfriends who, like Maya’s ride or die Joan (Leah Remini) have supported me through ups and downs and kept me grounded.
