Elated with Etsy: Yellow & Mint Beach House Finds

While perusing through pinterest, I stumbled on this cute little Swedish cottage and thought that it would also be the perfect color palette for the vacation beach house I have built up in my head. Our NYC apartment has small touches of an ocean-side feel with blue walls, amazing photos of sea creatures {that I cut out of a $2 calendar from Michaels}, glass bowls filled with seashells and neutral & white furniture pieces throughout.

There is so much I'd love to still add to our space but I've sworn I wouldn't do anything else to this place because we've outgrown it and we are hoping to move. In the meantime though, I'll continue fantasizing about the beach oasis of our dreams and hopefully some of these Etsy finds will still be around.

I so need this in our backyard with a view of the ocean, a mimosa in one hand and my nook in another.

Perfect for a nursery or in a hallway.

Kick your feet up and relax!

Lead the way.......

The Hubby and I love the idea of this re-purposed driftwood hanging in a series of three above our bed.

Don't these bright pops of  yellow and subtle splashes of mint make you feel  cheery yet calm all at once? The perfect balance!
