Celebrate Earth Day with Target's Made to Matter Collection #MadetoMatter

There's something about Spring that just makes you pause to think about just how beautiful this planet we live on really, truly is. Maybe it's the simple witnessing of flowers in bloom, the amazingness of babies being born, the change in weather that makes us tidy up our homes so that we can spend more time outdoors, whatever it is don't you simply love it? Earth day is more than just a single day it's a largely significant movement that inspires and challenges all of us by igniting passion and motivating action! Which is why I thought today would be the perfect day to tell you all about Target's Made to Matter line and how they challenged 20 of the brands you purchase daily to make a difference in order to protect our planet. From the brands that supply the food we feed our families, to the products we put on our skin, and that we use to clean our homes they accepted the challenge to create innovative products with a purpose and were all handpicked by Target.

10 Must Haves from Target to Dress Up Your Easter Table #TargetStyle

It never fails, every holiday I'm instantly brought back to memories of my grandma and the many family filled days spent in her apartment on the Lower East Side in Manhattan. For Whatever reason, she rarely ventured out of the house with us but it didn't bother my sister, cousins and I at all because our visits were always filled with love & laughter. We'd all be dressed in our Sunday best outfits (which for me included those uncomfortable white shoes with the annoying buckles), the house would be filled with the aroma of her yummy home-cooking (I'd watch her smack away a hand of a sneaky uncle who'd try to sample a dish) and we'd quickly notice the fun themed details that were perfectly placed throughout every room as we searched for plastic eggs filled with chocolate and money.

Mother Nature's temperamental weather over the last few weeks had me seriously caught off guard by how quickly Easter snuck up on us. Wasn't it just snowing a few days ago? Feeling unprepared  and remembering that I attended a Spring  preview for Target I thought I'd share some table decor inspiration in case you had some last minute shopping and decorating to do before all of the festivities.

I swear my grandmother would have loved going to Target, or sending one of us to shop for her because you can always grab some great finds and deals even at the last minute.

Fashion Frenzy: Harajuku Mini by Gwen Stefani @ Target

With kids named Kingston and Zuma, an ultra trendy line like LA.M.B {the scent is one of my faves} and being a fashion icon in her own right, Gwen Stefani's new children's line for Target is No Doubtedly going to be a great success! With price points ranging from $3.99 to $60 you definitely can't go wrong. Let the count down begin. What's your fave outfit for the mini you in your life?

Some of my besties are nerds, and I certainly love them to pieces. Very Cute

My 1 year old Tristan loves to growl at people, he'd get a kick out of this!

Sometimes I secretly wish I had a little girl. You probably wish this came in our grown-up sizes.

CJ would love this shirt, definitely his style, can we say "Want It"

I may not be able to fit the clothes, but I can rock this bag!

Don't forget to check these reasonably priced pieces and more form the Harajuku Mini collection on Nov. 13th @ Target.com

A Cause for Jubilation: Fun & Sophisticated Pumpkin Decor

With Halloween right around the bend and because of our recent trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend, there has been much debate over how we will decorate our pumpkins this year. I'm not a big fan of carving pumpkins because quite honestly I suck at it. In past years my hubby, CJ and I have had a blast carving pumpkins with our friends, it can get pretty competitive when deciding who's is the best.
My boys and the D'Annas getting to work on their pumpkins! Goblins and crossbones pirates! Our pumpkin designs were created with stencils we got  from Target.
Since I was so caught up in a mommy moment last night I didn't get the chance to post my  fave pumpkin finds that I spotted on pinterest.com. The hubby had the great idea of just using dry erase markers so that Chris could change the face when he wanted, opposed to the carving. I think that's a great idea and probably more fun because the design isn't set in stone. So here's what I found, some are carvings while others are splashes of color and creative design. Enjoy!
