When Was the Last Time You Did Something for the First Time?

There really is never a dull moment in my life, hardly do I ever exclaim that I'm bored. The boys and I are always looking to explore places we haven't been to and rediscovering old gems, we love to meet new people and try new culinary treats and stuff. Even with so much to do here in New York I don't feel like I've ever really been on an adventure or have done anything really exhilarating or refreshingly new.
Riding the roller coasters at Great Adventures is easy breezy for me so I'd have to say the closest moments I've gotten to an adrenaline driven high was go kart racing @ Grand Prix NYC last year in one of those "death machines" that go 40mph,{it had me so messed up I could barely stand straight and lost a shoe} and an anxiety filled sail on a catamaran on the island of Turks & Caicos {over a decade ago} that freaked me out so bad I cried and giggled as the guide joked about pushing me over. Considering I don't have a drivers license {I've never been on a simple amusement bumper car} and I don't know how to swim {It took me until my twenty's to get over water hitting my face in the shower} these were things I got to cross of my bucket list and have no desire to do again.
It seems on a few occasions I've been right where the action was but never got to partake in the thrill of the moment for myself. I chickened out on cliff diving on our honeymoon in Mexico, the line was too long for zip-lining in Las Vegas and the one day we went to scope out the hot air balloons in Arizona it was surprisingly too cloudy and we couldn't spot any afloat. I am determined to check another thrilling activity off my list and I'll be sure to share when I finally take one on.
