Must Haves For Lil' Monsters: VTech's InnoTab MAX #HolidayGiftGuide

Our lil' monsters are growing up in an age where by the age of 2 their little fingers know how to use tablets, phones and any other technological gizmo probably way better than many of the grown-ups in their lives. As parents we want to make sure they are exposed to the most kid-friendly, age appropriate applications out there, that create fun and engaging learning experiences.

We recently had the chance to test out the VTech InnoTab MAX and we've been truly impressed with it's features that make a great fit for both my boys ages 4 and 9 and they think it's the coolest thing ever. Check out some of the Lil' Monsters favorite games and what they enjoy most about the VTech InnoTab MAX, in their video review.

    1. There are so many great products like this out there for kids now. I don't have any kids of my own, but definitely think the sturdiness is important. One of my friend's daughters just broke their brand new iPad- so that was a costly thing to get fixed/replace! I don't think I would let my kids play with expensive electronics like that.

      1. that's exactly why I love this tablet, it's way more durable then some of the more higher priced ones out there and are geared to be kid-friendly with content perfect for them.

    2. I didn't realize what all InnoTab MAX offers but it's really neat. I know the kids would love having one of these and I would love those parental controls for sure. Thanks so much for sharing, I'm going to check this out a little bit more.

    3. I like the feature that lets me monitor what they are doing online and how long they've been online. Super helpful in curbing that technology addiction. My little three year old is the one I have to keep an eye on. He will play games forever if we let him. Your kids look so excited for their new Tab. I hope everything continues to go well for your cute family!

    4. I am so sad that my son has outgrown InnoTab. I loved all their products. Jacob had just about every one that came out. This one looks fantastic. Now I can start keeping an eye out for cool stuff for my niece! It's like starting all over again, except I don't have to change diapers or anything, lol.

    5. I didn't realize how much you can do with these Vtechs!! I love tablets like these the games teach my kids so much and they think they are playing video games instead of learning :) How fun you can text with the kids, mine are really getting into that but I won't buy them a phone.

    6. I'm so glad to read this. My one son has been asking for one of these, and I wasn't so sure. Now I'm really considering it. My kids can be quite hard on these types of things so I want one they will like and that will last. I'm going to look into the MAX and see about it.Thanks so much for sharing - JEANINE

      1. with so many tech gadgets and tablets out these days it is really hard to keep kids interested. Fortunately I've found with this tablet that once they are done playing the games, they end up making movies or watching shows on it, so I really think they won't get bored with. And it's great for car rides to pass the time away.

    7. Learning is so important to me for the kids in addition to them having fun. I need to check this out for the 4 year old. She is having some speech problems so we're looking for anything and everything we can find. We want to make learning fun for here. I'm glad you have an older "monster" to help teach the younger "monster" and they can enjoy quality time, too.

      1. Yolonda, I think your 4 year old would really enjoy it and all of the fun and engaging games disguises the learning process, and she will think it's pretty awesome because she can make movies and take pictures too.

    8. I gave my nephews nintendo DS' for Christmas last year - I have to say, I think they enjoyed it a lot because even when I go back to visit them, they remind me that it was their favourite gift of "all time" haha! Little cuties. Needless to say, anytime I DO visit them they want to play on my ipad, probably because it has so many games for them :)

    9. I love that they are starting to make tablets for children. My son is in love with my iPad...but I'm so afraid he's going to break it! I need to get him something like this! Thanks for sharing!

      1. I completely understand! My 4 year old and 10 year old were both gifted ipads at the end of the year and I just felt it was too much of a responsibility for their little, clumsy hands. I absolutely love how durable and travel friendly this tablet is.

    10. This looks awesome! And the smiles on your Lil' Monsters faces sells it for me :) I love that this resembles a "big person" tablet as that will make my little ones more apt to use it over mine. Great information! Thanks for sharing! We're looking for tablets for our youngest two.
