Celebrate Innovation with the 2016 Product of the Year Winners #Giveaway #POYUSA2016

With 50,000 new consumer products introduced each year, when purchasing products for your home and family how do you come to the decision on what's worth your hard earned dollars? Although it may initially spark my interest, just because I've seen the new trendy product in a commercial or magazine ad it doesn't necessarily mean that brand is going to get me to run out to the store or buy it online. I'm a huge fan of reading reviews and word of mouth recommendations, sometimes I make my decisions based solely on how many stars or thumbs up a product receives before purchasing. Haven't you ever wondered what goes into the voting process when a product is named as one of the BEST?

This year I attended the Product of the Year Awards where the most innovative products were
announced across 29 categories. The winning products are selected through the votes of over 40,000 consumers (a handful were my fellow blogging colleagues) in a national representative survey each year. Established 29 years ago, Product of the Year now operates in 42 countries and the red Product of the year seal lets shoppers know that over 40,000 fellow consumers prefer that product to the competition.

It was definitely a celebratory night for all!
