Can you think of a better way to cheer up on a dreary Friday that tops hugs or Carebears? Keep in mind that this is a kid / family friendly site so please keep all answer PG-13 for the moment, but I can just imagine, lol. Flashbacking in time to the days where 80's babies everywhere belted out the call for a "Carebear stare" makes me realize that like me, these vibrant loving bears are celebrating their 35th anniversary and are aging fantastically! Ha! 

What's even cooler is that my mini me and twin Aquarius son CJ is celebrating his 12th birthday on January 21st which is also "National Hug Day" which is beyond fitting because CJ is the best hugger ever and knows the absolute most comforting times to dole them out. So just imagine how excited I was as a millennial mama to find out that Sprinkles the cupcake bakery had the perfect themed cupcakes to celebrate.

On January 21st "National Hug Day" Sprinkles fans can celebrate with a Care Bear character at the New York (780 Lexington) shop from 1-3 p.m. who'll be taking pictures and giving hugs!  Sprinkles will also be giving away a free glitter care bear to the first 100 customers who buy a Care Bear cupcake.
